All Inclusive Wedding Cruise Packages

When you book an all-inclusive wedding cruise package what you get will depend on what cruise line you are sailing with and of course what you are willing to spend. Your options range from booking with the main cruise lines (Carnival, Royal Caribbean or their affiliates) or going with a smaller option or even booking a private yacht. For economical reasons your best bet will be to choose the larger cruise line as they will be able to offer more of what you want for a cheaper price but once the cruise begins you are sharing your honeymoon with about 2000 other people, including whatever family members decided to come along.

Princess Cruises were the first to begin performing weddings at sea and have since become known as the most romantic option. Their all-inclusive wedding cruise packages begin at $1,800, with $450 for registration and license fees. The package includes live music, champagne, bridal bouquet and matching boutonniere for the groom, photo package with a deluxe canvas print, a wedding cake, a souvenir wedding certificate and a host of onboard wedding coordinators to ensure everything runs smoothly. Customizable options are available for food and beverage choices at the reception, a customizable bridal bouquet as well as many photography and video choices. For a stressed out bride or a nervous groom spa pampering sessions are available before the ceremony and the groom can even rent his tuxedo onboard the ship.

Royal Caribbean offers a few interesting all-inclusive wedding packages as well and they include your choice of where to get married on the ship, if you ever wanted to come down the “aisle” on a surfboard, Royal Caribbean can make it happen. Their basic package includes a 3 hour pre-planning session with a ship coordinator, priority check-in and escort to the room, a choice of wedding location on the ship, a bridal bouquet with matching boutonniere, keepsake wedding certificate, four chocolate covered toasting strawberries for the bridal couple, a bottle of sparkling wine and professional shipboard photography.  The packages go up in detail and extravagance but expect the price to go up quite a bit as well.

Carnival’s all-inclusive packages come in at the cheapest with a starting price of around $1,195. The basic package includes the ceremony, a bridal bouquet and matching boutonniere for the groom, sparkling wine and keepsake flutes, wedding cake with keepsake topper, cake cutting service and champagne toast, wedding march music and photography service. The downside to Carnival is that while the photographer is included in the package but do not expect any of the pictures to be included, those have to be purchased separately and they can get quite expensive.

All inclusive wedding cruise packages are a cheap and simple way to tie the knot as they include the honeymoon, but don’t expect a long ceremony or reception, so if guests cannot stay for the cruise the time to visit is very limited.
